Gluten-free and vegan pastafood


5 medium-sized beetroot

1 onion

2 cloves of garlic

2 teaspoon marjoram

1/2 teaspoon white pepper

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon of salt

1/2 packet of vegan greek cheese

1.5 jar of onion flavored oatcream

4 dl Tervens chickpeapasta (i.e fusilli or pennepasta)


1. Grate beetroot and cut onion and garlic. Saute them in pan with small amount of oil. Cook the chickpeapasta according to instructions. Add spices to cream and check the taste. Add salt if needed.
2. Oil the foiltray. Put the pastas at the bottom. Put the beetroot-mix over the pasta. Don't stir, but press the mix tightly over the pasta. Add the cream and then cheese crumbs on top. Bake in 250 degree oven for 15 minutes.
